ST. MARY'S ACADEMY OF CALOOCAN CITY (SMACC) is a Catholic, Filipino school possessed and directed by the sisters of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM). It was in the past named Our Lady of Grace Academy (OLGA) and was renamed to SMACC to bind together the RVM's educational system. The school is situated at twelfth Avenue, which was renamed on May 2, 1999 to Madre Ignacia Avenue by a City Council Ordinance to pay tribute to Mother Foundress,Ignacia del Espiritu Santo.The first network of sisters who dealt with the school was as yet associated with St. Mary's Academy of Trozo, Manila, during the initial three years of its activity with S.
